Who says you can't have fruit year round? These oranges were growing in a local Cost Rican garden. 
Coffee is one of the top exported crops in the country. World wide, Costa Rican coffee is favored by many.
The food and temperature are hotter in Costa Rica! Chili peppers are often used in cooking here. Wraps, salads and sauces can be found with chunks of these peppers. 
Bananas a follow cofee in crop production. Costa Rica produces most of the world's banana produce.
